about our festival

Connecting the diverse African communities with other communities in London and beyond.

The African-British Festival of Arts and Culture otherwise dubbed the AfroBrits Festival showcases the best of African-British cultures in the United Kingdom. The overall aim of the festival is to promote and celebrate the traditions, cultural values and heritage of the British people of African descent through arts, theatre production, fashion show, music and film festivals. Thus, allowing artists of African origin to be recognised and appreciated in an atmosphere of tolerance, mutual esteem and artistic fulfilment. The 2022 edition of the festival is designed to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee celebration in the African British way.
